Brentwood Branch Library

Clark Huesemann was selected in association with Dake Wells Architecture of Springfield, Missouri to create a transformation of the Brentwood Branch Library in the Springfield-Greene County Library district.

The work included a complete programming study and design/planning tools for transforming the facility into a modern, vibrant, and sustainable library to serve its neighborhood community well into the future.

Its designers planned the transformation of the library by analyzing space utilization and space needs for various library functions; and the community meeting room functions were studied to determine future usage needs. Then, space planning strategies were developed to respond to current and future library trends, operational and functional issues, and patron experience goals.
