Pittsburg State University Foundry

Partnered with Vecino Group, Clark Huesemann paid homage to Pittsburg’s original industrial boom and designed the renovation of an existing building at Block 22. The 16,000 square feet renovation will transform the space into a collaboration zone fit for the next generation of entrepreneurs. The Foundry will be impactful and bring vitality to its surroundings as this space will not only serve the university but also local businesses and community groups.

Clark Huesemann worked with Vecino Group and Pittsburg State to develop this project into an “entrepreneurial epicenter” for the city and university. The Foundry includes co-working and makerspace along with unique collaboration zones and reservable meeting rooms of varying sizes. It will also house PSU’s Center for Innovation and Business Development and a new coffee shop, linked by a new outdoor event space.
