This week we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of University of Kansas architecture students to our office and out to tour one of the potential sites for the Lawrence Farmers Market’s permanent home! The students are working on a live/work studio design project, and their visit gave them a firsthand look at our process – from how design engages light, materials, and historic preservation to the planning work we’ve been doing alongside the Farmers Market. It’s always energizing to connect with the next generation of designers and planners, and we’re grateful to be part of work that supports such a beloved corner of our community.
