A lifelong maker and LEED Green Associate, Izzy brings hands-on curiosity, strong problem-solving instincts, and genuine enthusiasm to everything she touches. She’s a fourth-year student in the five-year Master of Architecture program at the University of Kansas, where she’s built experience across landscape, healthcare, housing, academic, and government projects – with a particular passion for civic and educational work that shapes how communities live and grow. She’s most in her element in the early stages of design, where she loves exploring bold ideas and crafting responses rooted in site and context. An active AIAS member originally from Nashville, Izzy recently broadened her perspective through a month of architectural study in Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan and is currently channeling that same maker spirit into designing and building her own furniture.
